I consider myself to be a live video artist with strong tendencies to programming and system integration. I love to arrange complex systems which are running in real-time and tend to overemphasize some of their inherent fuzziness to an extreme extent. Suddenly they unveil an overwhelming amount of random behavior. Without having complete control over the entirety of the system at all times, my work is often a search for hidden logic and sparks of chaos. In performance situations my system engages in a dialogue with me, leading to unique surprises while we keep feeding each other by the energy we provide.
I have studied architecture and media design at Bauhaus Universität Weimar, did a short excursion into mathematics in Berlin at Humboldt Universität and shortly thereafter entered Art & Media at Universität der Künste Berlin. During the summer of 2020 my long educational journey finally came to an end by being appointed as Meisterschüler.
